Anyone wanting to purchase insulin pump consumables (IPCs) from the NDSS must be assessed against a set of criteria which have been endorsed by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. If you have not completed your assessment, or you have not met the assessment criteria, you will not be able to purchase IPCs from the NDSS. The assessment must be completed by an Endocrinologist, Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Specialist Physician. The completed IPC Assessment Form should be returned to the NDSS by mail, fax or in-person to the nearest Diabetes Australia office.

Orders will be sent to the delivery address you submit on your order form. The address must be within Australia. If you will be travelling overseas for an extended period and think you will need supplies during that time, you may need to order additional products prior to leaving Australia. However, remember there are limits to how much you can order at a time.
If you are running low on consumables, or you think you may run out around that time – you will need to consider that mail-order delivery may take up to five working days in major cities, or 10-14 days in remote areas.
