Diabetes Australia aims to ensure easy access to and supply of Products to people registered with the NDSS throughout Australia. To achieve this, and in-line with the NDSS Head Agreement, Diabetes Australia subcontracts the provision of these services to Agents.
Diabetes Australia has established a network of state-based Agents to assist in the delivery of the NDSS. Currently, all NDSS Agents are state and territory member organisations of Diabetes Australia.

What is an Agent?NDSSpace
Agents are currently the state and territory member organisations of Diabetes Australia and have signed the Agent’s Agreement with Diabetes Australia. Not all 12 entities that comprise Diabetes Australia are Agents for the NDSS.
An Agent ensures the smooth delivery of products to Registrants through the following ways:
- by phone
- by mail
- by email
- by fax
- at Agent shop fronts
- at Sub-Agents.
