We all know smoking is hazardous to our health. However, if you have diabetes, you’re already at an increased risk of developing heart and kidney problems. Mixing smoking and diabetes also increases your chances of:

  • high blood pressure
  • problems with your feet and eyesight
  • teeth and gum problems.

If this doesn’t put you off, check out other information on smoking and diabetes. Ask yourself… is it worth it? If you already smoke, talk to your doctor about ways to quit or contact Quitline on 137 848.
