Online Peer Support program
For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with type 2 diabetes
Developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders living with type 2 diabetes, the program lets peer support volunteers interact online to encourage participants to share their stories and experiences. Follow the diabetes journeys of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peer volunteers on film through this Facebook group-hosted online peer support program. Get online with these inspiring volunteers and talk about diabetes, diagnosis, physical activity, healthy eating, family support and lots more.
