NDSS Connect

NDSS Connect 2.0 was released in June 2023 and is the new online portal that NDSS Access Points in Australia use to supply NDSS products to people living with diabetes. This can be accessed at connect.ndss.com.au.

Frequently asked questions

Below are some of the improvements and new functionality within the NDSS Connect 2.0 portal:

  • Updated look and feel with improved navigation.
  • Advanced Registrant Search for a Registrant who does not have their Registrant number, DVA or Medicare Card with them.
  • Registrant search now requires two items, a Registrants NDSS, Medicare or DVA number and last name.
  • Reduced requirement for Registrant Detail Declaration so that if the Registrant’s details have been checked within the last six (6) months, a declaration is not necessary.
  • Streamlined ordering process so that the only products displayed are those that the Registrant is permitted to purchase.
  • Improved Product Searching so that Users can search for relevant detail to find the product required.
  • Staged SATS/Summary Order process which separates the current order being added too and the order in review before it is submitted.

Yes, to reset your password after you have created your new account for the NDSS Connect 2.0 portal:

  1. Go to connect.ndss.com.au  
  2. select ‘forgot your password?’ on the sign on screen and
  3. follow the steps.

No, your portal account will not be blocked if unused.

Yes, the following guidance materials are provided for Access Point staff on this webpage.

You can view partially completed or previously submitted orders.

Yes, you can update the following NDSS Registrant contact details through the NDSS Connect 2.0 portal:

  • Concession Card details
  • Registrant email address
  • Phone numbers
  • Medicare number and
  • Residential Address.

If a Registrant needs to update changes to the following details, an NDSS Change of Personal Details Form needs to be printed for the Registrant to complete. The form can be scanned and emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 1300 536 953 for processing by NDSS Agents.

  • Name
  • Postal address
  • Nominated guardian or carer or
  • ATSI status.

Maximum product order limits for NDSS Registrants will be displayed if the quantity of items entered exceeds the limit.

If a Registrant is requesting a larger volume of products due to exceptional circumstances, please contact the NDSS Helpline on 1800 637 700 for further guidance.

Yes, a PDF summary of a submitted order is available to print or save, but this is no longer a requirement.

To print: Select the print button on the screen to activate print options.

Tip: The print preview settings may allow the User to adjust the ‘Scale’ setting to reduce the number of pages to be printed.

While Users will be automatically signed out when they close the browser, it is suggested for Users to manually sign out.

Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 11 are not supported browsers for the NDSS Connect 2.0 portal, meaning some features may not provide the best user experience.
