Qld My health for life My health for life is a free, healthy lifestyle program for Queenslanders who are at high risk of chronic disease, including type 2 diabetes. Designed to support positive behaviour change, the program can help women who have had gestational diabetes to plan and action small lifestyle changes that have long term health benefits. The program involves six sessions overs six months and is delivered by qualified health professionals. Participants have the choice of group sessions or phone coaching options. My health for life recognises that everyone has their reasons for improving their health whether it is losing weight, eating better or moving more. SA Better Health Coaching Service The Better Health Coaching Service is a free, confidential, telephone-based program designed to help South Australians be active, eat well and reduce the risk of chronic disease. The Better Health Coaching Service is free to eligible South Australians aged between 18 and 74 years, with a BMI equal to or more than 27 and seeking support to build and maintain healthy lifestyle habits. Vic Life! after gestational diabetes As parents, we all want to be healthy and have the energy to do the things we love. It may be keeping up with a young family or supporting your children to have the best start to life. Life! after gestational diabetes is designed specifically for busy parents. The program helps you increase your energy and improve your mood and sleep. Being active and eating healthy meals are just some of things you can do to benefit your health. The Life! program helps you gradually make small changes to your daily habits to achieve long-term goals. When you join the program, you’ll receive support from qualified health professionals, including dietitians and exercise physiologists, over 7 sessions. Life! after gestational diabetes offers online group sessions. If you prefer face-to-face group sessions or one-on-one telephone health coaching, these options are also available in the general Life! program. The program is FREE for eligible participants.
