Quality review tool for aged care residents

Certain policies and procedures must be in place in residential aged care facilities—in line with evidence-based practice—for residents with diabetes.

This tool will assist managers in aged care facilities to assess the quality of the management and care of residents diagnosed with diabetes in their facility. All evidence should be documented in this checklist.

This tool was developed to accompany the Diabetes management in aged care: a practical handbook.
