Published: 3 December, 2024 Roche Diabetes Care has identified a manufacturing issue affecting the Accu-Chek Spirit 3.15 ml cartridge system, which may cause insulin leakage at the luer connection where the cartridge connects to an infusion set. Insulin leakage may not be immediately detectable, potentially leading to an under-delivery of insulin. NDSS Products Affected by this Recall Accu-Chek Spirit 3.15 ml cartridge system (25 pcs) – Manufactured between 1 March 2024 and 31 October 2024. What Should Consumers Do? Check Your Supplies: Examine your Accu-Chek Spirit 3.15 ml cartridge stock to determine if it was manufactured between 1 March 2024 and 31 October 2024. Stop Using Affected Products: If your cartridges fall within this date range, discontinue their use immediately. Consult Your Healthcare Team: Work with your doctor or healthcare team to transition to an alternative therapy method, until replacement products are available.
