Health workforce education program

We are pleased to announce that we have released a new online program for the health workforce, the NDSS health workforce education program. This program enables health professionals and workers to learn more about diabetes, and the support and services available through the NDSS.

The online program is free and covers 6 topics including, the National Diabetes Services Scheme, Diabetes explained, Medication and monitoring and Diabetes-related complications.

By completing these 10-minute modules you will:

  • know more about the services available through the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS).
  • understand the diabetes healthcare team and how they support people living with diabetes.
  • be able to recommend resources and services to people living with diabetes.
