Medical devices affected by 3G network closure

Published:

Telstra and Optus will shut down their 3G mobile networks on 28 October 2024, following TPG Telecom/Vodafone, which completed its 3G shutdown earlier this year. As these networks are phased out, some medical devices may be affected.

If you’re unsure whether your device relies on the 3G network, please contact the sponsor, supplier, or place of purchase.

Visit the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for more information.
