Omnipod 5 System to become compatible with FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor

From 1 October 2026, the Omnipod 5 System will become compatible with the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor, providing eligible NDSS registrants with an additional CGM option to use with their insulin delivery system.

Accessing Omnipod 5 with FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus

Eligible NDSS registrants who wish to use the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor with Omnipod 5 should speak with an authorised diabetes health professional to determine whether the system is appropriate for their individual needs and to arrange any required updates to their NDSS CGM registration.

As with other Omnipod 5 configurations, registrants must ensure the Pods they order align with the CGM they are registered to use.
