Published: 27 May, 2026 The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has issued a market alert regarding a recall of two batches of Dexcom G7 sensors supplied by AA‑Med Pty Ltd. The affected batch numbers are 1725204004 and 1725069002. These batches were originally identified in the United States for disposal due to concerns about incomplete sterilisation and potential deployment failure identified during testing. However, the devices were reportedly stolen during the disposal process and subsequently distributed through unauthorised supply channels. Because the distribution pathways for these products cannot be confirmed, it is possible that some devices may have entered the Australian market. Dexcom G7 sensors obtained through the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) are not affected by this recall. The TGA advises that if you have a sensor from either of the affected batches, you should stop using it immediately and dispose of it safely. Further information is available in the market action alert on the TGA website.
