Published: 14 September, 2026 The Dexcom G6 transmitter and sensor will no longer be available through the NDSS from 1 October 2026, following the manufacturer’s decision to discontinue these products. What this means for you Registrants currently using Dexcom G6 will automatically transition to Dexcom G7 by 30 September 2026. Registrants do not need to see a diabetes health professional solely to update their NDSS access. Registrants can speak to their diabetes health professional if they: Have questions or would like support transitioning to Dexcom G7 Use an insulin pump and are unsure about device compatibility Would like to discuss changing to a different CGM device.
