Urgent Product Correction: Dexcom G7 iOS App

Published:

AMSL Diabetes, a Dexcom company, has issued an urgent Product Correction for the Dexcom G7 iOS App version 2.12 following agreement with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

In Dexcom G7 iOS App version 2.12, only Critical Alerts are designed to override an iPhone’s Silent Mode or Focus Mode settings. Non-critical alerts will follow the phone’s notification settings.

As a result, if an affected device is set to Silent Mode or Focus Mode, some non-critical alerts may not sound. This could delay the detection of high or low glucose levels, which may have serious health consequences.
