About the NDSS

Get the support you need to understand and manage your diabetes.

The National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) is an Australian Government initiative administered by Diabetes Australia for people living with diabetes.

The NDSS helps you manage your diabetes by providing:

  • subsidised diabetes products
  • clear and reliable diabetes information
  • support services, programs and events.

Diabetes products you can access

You can access subsidised products when you register with the NDSS. These may include:

You may have to meet extra criteria to access these products. Talk with your health professional about which products you can access.

Free services, programs and events

You can also access free:

  • information and online learning to help you look after your diabetes
  • programs and events in person or online with health professionals and support groups.
