NDSS support services

The NDSS offers free support and services to help you manage life with diabetes.

Services and events

The NDSS provides a range of services to help you confidently manage your diabetes. When you register with the NDSS, you can access:

  • in-person and online programs on everyday life with diabetes, healthy eating, being active, insulin, mental health and more
  • peer support to connect with other people with diabetes, online or in person
  • fact sheets, online modules and other resources about managing your diabetes
  • a free NDSS Helpline on 1800 637 700, where you can get general advice from one of our health professionals, ask about services in your area and more.

Diabetes resources in your language

A range of diabetes resources is available in up to 26 languages.

These resources help with information about the NDSS and diabetes, such as:

  • diabetes care
  • food and nutrition
  • exercise
  • pregnancy.

You can also call the NDSS Helpline using a free translator service.
