Lifesmart 2 Twoplus Blood Glucose Monitoring Strips to Be Discontinued from NDSS Product Schedule

Published:

Lifesmart 2 Twoplus blood glucose monitoring strips will be discontinued from the NDSS product schedule as of 31 January 2025.

What this means for you

If you currently use Lifesmart 2 Twoplus blood glucose monitoring strips, you will need to transition to a new blood glucose meter and corresponding monitoring strips before the discontinuation date.

Transitioning to a new blood glucose meter

  • Consult Your Health Professional: Speak with your doctor or diabetes educator to discuss the best blood glucose meter for your needs. Your healthcare professional can provide advice on suitable options and help you learn how to use your new meter effectively.
  • Plan Your Transition Before 31 January 2025: To ensure you continue to manage your diabetes effectively, make the switch to a new blood glucose meter and monitoring strips well in advance of the discontinuation date.
  • Access Free Blood Glucose Meters: Find information about accessing free blood glucose meters here
