Information for health professionals—COVID-19 changes to the delivery of continuous glucose monitoring starter kits

In response to COVID-19 the Australian Government has introduced a temporary change to continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) products to enable a CGM starter kit to be sent directly to the residential address of the person with diabetes or their carer/guardian. This may be appropriate when access to a face-to-face opportunity for the health professional to provide education and support for the setup and ongoing use of the CGM device is unavailable.
