Changes to DVA White Card concession eligibility will commence on 1 July 2023

Published:

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is only authorised to provide funding for eligible, entitled persons under DVA legislation. That means, a DVA client must have been issued with a DVA Health Treatment Card, i.e. a Gold Card (for all treatment purposes) or a White Card for specific, service related, conditions.

NDSS Registrants who hold a DVA White Card with diabetes as a DVA accepted condition will continue to receive fully funded NDSS products.

NDSS Registrants who hold a DVA White Card without diabetes as a DVA accepted condition will now pay a co-payment when purchasing NDSS products in the same manner as other NDSS Registrants.

Further information for veterans is available at dva.gov.au/diabetes or by contacting DVA on 1800 VETERAN (1800 838 372) or email [email protected].
